Why the distinction matters
By the time most homeowners call anybody, water has been getting in for a while. The roof is the cause, but it is rarely the whole job: soaked sheathing, a compromised truss end, wet insulation, a ceiling to open up and rebuild. A roofing-only crew hands each of those to someone else, and you become the project manager for three trades who have never met. Here it stays one contract and one schedule.

If your roof simply needs a roof — a clean re-roof, no structural question, no interior damage — a dedicated roofing company will often be faster, will have better volume pricing on material, and will fit you in sooner. That is a real advantage and we are not going to pretend otherwise. We will tell you on the phone which situation you are in.
