Who this covers
This site is operated by Romco Builders, a licensed Florida general contractor headquartered in Fort Lauderdale and licensed across all 67 Florida counties. It is one of several sites we run for different service lines. This policy governs this website; a construction project is governed by the contract you sign.
What we collect
While using this site we may ask for information that can be used to contact or identify you.
- First and last name.
- Email address and phone number.
- Property or site location, and whether you own it.
- Project scope, budget range and timeline parameters.
- The page you enquired from and the first external referrer we saw.
Photographs
Photographs you send us, and photographs we take during an inspection, are used to document condition, produce a scope of work, and support any insurance documentation you ask for. We do not use images of your property in marketing without asking first and getting a yes.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss the project.
- To produce estimates, scopes and feasibility assessments.
- To send project status and scheduling updates, including by text message, through our own secure automation.
- To run permitting and inspections where we are the contractor of record.
- To improve the service.
What we do not do
This site runs no third-party advertising or tracking scripts. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
Who we share it with
Only where the work requires it: the building department for a permit, your insurer or adjuster if you ask us to, and any subcontractor working on your project. Service providers who process data on our behalf may access it only to perform that task and are obliged not to use it for anything else.
Text messages
If you give us a phone number we may call or text you about your project. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message or tell us. Message and data rates may apply.
Retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes set out here, and as long as needed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Records tied to a permitted project are retained as our obligations require. We use commercially acceptable means to protect data, but no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
Removal
To have your enquiry information and any photographs you sent deleted, email info@romcobuilders.com.
